Cointime update: Singapore semiconductor startup Symatics unveiled its Morphic Processing Unit (MPU) architecture on Nov. 6 at the 2026 Business and Philanthropy Forum, saying it speeds up AI responses by optimizing how data is organized and processed. The design uses row-column parallel processing and compiler-planned execution to cut data movement between memory and compute units, targeting interactive AI and inference workloads. The MPU remains in R&D without disclosed funding, prototype chip or tape-out progress.
