Cointime update: Japan’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Tatsunori Ibayashi publicly apologized on May 5 at a Senate Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Transportation Committee meeting over allegations that he improperly held political fundraising activities. The apology was made during the parliamentary session in response to the allegations.
