Cointime reports: The Philadelphia Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index fell 9.2% on Thursday, Nov. 5, on pace for its biggest one-day drop since June, as investors questioned the AI trade amid strong Democratic midterm results. The index is down about 12% this week, heading for its worst weekly performance since April 2025 and a fifth straight weekly decline. Storage makers Western Digital and Seagate both fell over 14%, while CoreWeave and Nebius Group also dropped sharply. Deutsche Bank said semiconductors remain attractive relative to software.
