Cointime update: Ethereum’s All Core Developers (ACD) call has postponed the hard fork process and will not launch the fork on the Hoodi testnet until issues are resolved, the Ethereum Foundation said on Nov. 6. Security firm ChainSecurity found that certain invariants some projects depend on could break under the Glamsterdam upgrade, tied to EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 changes to gas costs and state gas accounting. The Foundation is coordinating audits and has opened a GitHub repository listing the eight affected invariants.
