Cointime reports: Bank of Japan September meeting minutes, published Thursday, show several board members agreed on the need for further rate increases, with one arguing the pace should accelerate if inflation threatens to overshoot expectations. At the September 17-18 meeting the BOJ raised its policy rate to 1.25% from 1%, the highest in 31 years and its second hike in three months, quickening a pace that had been roughly one move every six months.
