Cointime update: China released its full 2027 public holiday schedule on the afternoon of the 5th, featuring a nine-day Spring Festival break from Feb. 5 (New Year’s Eve) to Feb. 13, matching 2026 as the longest on record. Two weekend workdays are shifted to prevent seven consecutive working days after the holiday. 2027 will have the fewest make-up workdays in recent years, with New Year’s Day and Qingming connecting naturally to weekends.
