EU: Too Early to Link Europe Flight Bomb Threats

Cointime update: The European Commission said on March 5 it is too early to conclude whether multiple bomb threats against European passenger aircraft are linked, as national authorities continue investigating. EU Transport Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas, speaking in Dublin, said the bloc has activated an aviation security information-sharing mechanism and that there is no information yet to determine whether cyberattacks are involved.
