Cointime update: GoPlus Security warned on Nov. 5 that multiple iOS self-custody wallet users have reported stolen assets, including several Trust Wallet users and one Uniswap Wallet user, with reported losses of about $561,000. GoPlus’s SEAL security team suspects the incidents may be linked to recent cyberattacks targeting iOS, with attackers allegedly exploiting unpatched vulnerabilities in older iOS versions to steal private data and gain unauthorized access. GoPlus urged iPhone users to update to the latest iOS version and check for malicious apps.
