Nvidia Falls 7.3% as US Stocks Plunge; Nasdaq Drops Over 3.9%

Cointime reports: Nvidia dropped 7.3% intraday, its steepest decline since April 2025, as a broad selloff hit US equities. The VIX volatility index jumped 40.0% to 23.28, the S&P 500 widened losses to 2.4%, the Dow fell more than 700 points (over 1.3%), and the Nasdaq plunged over 1,000 points, or more than 3.9%. The Nasdaq 100 slid 1,300 points (over 4.5%) and the semiconductor index fell about 900 points, or 8.7%.
