Soter Insure B round adds SC Ventures, SBI Group as investors

Cointime update: Digital-asset insurer Soter Insure has brought in Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures and Japan’s SBI Group as strategic investors in its Series B, with existing backer Token Bay Capital also adding capital. Galaxy led the round, which already included Coinbase Ventures, Franklin Templeton and Brevan Howard Digital. Soter Insure will use the proceeds to expand underwriting capacity, deepen its underwriting and technology, and accelerate into Asia-Pacific via Hong Kong, Europe and the US.
