Cointime update: Samsung Wallet has rolled out USDC stablecoin accounts for eligible US Galaxy users, letting them buy, hold, send and receive USDC directly on Solana without a separate crypto wallet or private-key management. The service, backed by custodian Bastion and Coinbase, is expected to reach about 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the US. Transfers to other Samsung Wallet users and compatible external wallets are free, credit-card top-ups carry a 4% fee, and New York residents are excluded for now.
