Cointime update: Base activated its Denim upgrade on mainnet on November 6, introducing native 200-millisecond block production, or five full blocks per second. The upgrade replaces Flashblocks preconfirmations with native blocks that carry their own block number, hash, state root and receipts. It also adds BaseTime for millisecond-level timestamp precision in contracts and improves the B20 token standard, letting issuers require approval for each transfer through a designated transfer agent and use one address list as either a whitelist or blacklist.
