Cointime update: Immutable said on November 6 that Immutable Chain will upgrade from its custom geth fork to an OP Stack-based chain in 2027. The move is expected to speed up transactions on the network and tighten its link to Ethereum’s security. All accounts, balances and contracts will migrate automatically, with nearly all users needing to take no action.
