Cointime update: China’s Jilin provincial discipline inspection commission announced on the 5th that Chai Wei, former Party secretary and chairman of Northeast Small and Medium Enterprises Financing Re-guarantee Co., has been expelled from the Communist Party and dismissed from public office. Chai, also a member of the 12th Jilin Provincial Party Committee, was investigated for serious violations of discipline and law following approval from the provincial Party committee.
