Cointime update: Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, and its asset-management clients have purchased an undisclosed amount of AAVE tokens on the secondary market through affiliated fund Digital Asset Special Investments I, LP. Payward said it may add to its AAVE position and is exploring future collaboration with Aave. The purchase was made on the secondary market rather than directly from Aave, a person familiar said, a structure the parties see as aligning interests.
